Yet another great day of hard work, and having fun with friends
Started the day with a solid brick workout doing a 1h13m bike then a 25 minute run. A brick workout is a major part of triathlon training, when you practice going from one discipline immediately to another one. It helps to prepare you for race day, when all three (swim/bike/run) are combined
Later on, headed to the gym for some chest/tri work and ran into our starting quarterback for our flag football team, completely by surprise! I'm playing in a flag football tournament that concludes at AT&T Stadium; the home of the Dallas Cowboys. We have some high hopes going into the tournament, so it was great to see our QB (Ty Watts) grinding and getting ready for it
It ended with bowling night; which I have every Thursday. I bowled a horrific first game of 123. I say horrific, because my average is a 167. Cleaned up the second two games, though, with a 172 and 192, and we got 3 of the 4 points on the night!
