The Goonies NES Famicom Playthrough
0This is a pretty cool classic 2D platformer based on the movie of the same name. It's a pretty good game. This game basically has events from the movie but it's not exactly like the movie. The game is made by Konami interestingly enough. I think back then they use to make games for some movie and other media like TMNT during the 80s. I wish there was a documentary exploring and explaining how that went during that time period. Back then video game movies had to resort to 8-bit graphics so there really was no other alternative for franchises to branch out outside of live action, animation, comics and other stuff like music. Nowadays most games based on movies uses 3D graphics. In the game you rescue other kids trapped by planting bombs to destroy the doors holding them. After you collect enough keys you can open the spiked doors and move on to the next area. It's pretty short if you know where to go. It's easy because it's your usual 2D platformer. Just explore every area and you should figure it out.
