I seriously loved Gorechosen. For what seemed like a throwaway game design, it was quite well made and dripped with its violent theme. On more than one occasion it ended up drawing crowds when it got played in game stores/ clubs and I had it all painted.
Like many good things, we sent it off to greener pastures for others to enjoy. While Combat Arena was basically a far less violent reskin (and a cheaper way to get some nice Blackstone Fortress exclusive models), Gorechosen has had a soft spot in my heart since.
When I saw a new warband had taken up the mantle in the name of the Skull Throne, I did my heretical duty and heeded their call.
Lots of horns, brass, skulls, and anger. Just the way Khorne likes his khorne flakes!
I guess my only real gripes are that their poses are a bit static, and the fat guy with a skull mask isn't the most original or exciting of Khorne's minions.
I look forward to getting these guys to the table in one way or another in the future!
