The White Dwarf made an appearance in HeroQuest in 1989, but that isn't where his story starts or ends. Always Board Never Boring received a wonderful gift of a 2002 White Dwarf miniature from viewer Robert Druery. He's not technically "Oldhammer" and is newer than the stuff ABNB normally collects, but he's a fantastic piece of Games Workshop's history and is sure to see a lot of use on the tabletop. In honour of this gift, ABNB thought he would take a quick look at White Dwarf miniatures through the ages, from the first in 1979 to the most recent celebratory Grombrindal in 2024. Along the way we'll look at some White Dwarf magazine cover art, and even take a quick detour through the dungeons of HeroQuest. Hopefully there are no inaccuracies; ABNB tried to triple check everything.
