It's kind of like a card based, lovecraftian, investigative mystery, boardgame. It's a singleplayer affair where you can play at your own pace without too much pressure. It's heavily story driven similar to a visual novel, except here you are interacting instead of passively reading. Still, it is a slow burner as such. Completing tasks takes time and can involve a multi-layered approach to achieve desired results. You can get different results from tasks using different characters which you may find a blessing or a curse in repetition.
