Early on when I first started I didn't keep many lists, either as files or in notebooks, but since around 2008-2009 due to Arnold's "Six Rules of Success" as well as what I learned from writing courses I slowly started keepings lists of everything I think of, work on, and design. First it was only simple text files, but over the years they've grown into all kinds of lists and many different notebooks to keep track of what I work on. I even have around 15 kg of notebooks just lying in a box waiting for me to go through some day.

The first major incident was aronud 2007, almost losing all of my projects and files, but luckily I had backups and only lost a few days of work. Since then I've had three more incidents in 2010-2011, 2013-2014, abd 2021-2022.

Before 2011 I also didn't worry too much about keeping redundant versions in order to preserve mtimes, but with the years I've come to understand that it's better to have too many backups and too many redundant files than none at all.

Whether you work in a creative, scientific, or technical field, make sure to keep track of everything that you work on — it's a damn nice method!

For me the lists are long enough, I've been doing it for over two decades, and I've had four major incidents in my life where I've nearly lost all of my files, so while I may seem silly and some may think of me as a crackpot — I do have reason to be suspicious knowing what I've worked on, lists I've kept, and knowing what forums and sites I've been on.

I've lived my live on welfare (apart from 3x6 months of part time work 2016, 2017, and 2019), never travelled, never partied, never had a relatonship, mental health issues since 2003, not really any friends in real-life to spend time with, no children, no work, nothing in my life except me, my cats, my projects, and whatever media I've enjoyed over the years. It took me until late 2014 just for me to start caring abotu my health, to lose weight, and then in 2019 start going to the gym. I may have had it pretty cozy in terms of "income", getting free money from the state that I can survive on, but it has not been a successful and rosy life.

No, I will never forget.

No, I will never forgive.

No, I will never stop.
