Review of Divinity: Original Sin, a single-player and cooperative multiplayer role-playing game by Larian Studios. Original Sin is the latest RPG in the Divinity universe, alongside a previous title we looked at in the series, Divinity: Dragon Commander.

Divinity: Original Sin concerns two heroes: a condemned warrior released from his chains and a mystic heroine restored to life. Their mission is to investigate a brutal murder in a remote town besieged by Orcs and the undead, but they soon come to realize that their fate transcends worlds.

Divinity: Original Sin includes the editor that it was created with, allowing players to create their own single-player and multiplayer adventures, and publish them online. With it's powerful content creation tools, how will this ultimately perform in the video game market?

The Initiative is a review and analysis series on newly-released PC games. The series will show my first impressions of the gameplay and features at face value, and analyze its longevity in the market and community.
