Let's make the popular classic "Shogayaki" (ginger pork) ♪ The trick to making the meat tender is to cut the tendons beforehand. This will allow the meat to cook evenly without curling or shrinking when grilled! The seasoning is a sweet and spicy sauce with the aroma of grated ginger. Even if you don't marinate the meat, you can coat it in potato starch before grilling, which will allow the sauce to coat the meat well and make it delicious. It's also delicious served over rice as a bowl of rice.

"Basic Pork Shogayaki"

■Ingredients (Serves 2)
・200g Pork Loin (for Shogayaki)
・Potato starch, to taste
・1 tablespoon Salad Oil
☆Sauce
・1 tablespoon Sake
・2 tablespoons Mirin
・1 teaspoon Sugar
・1 1/2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
・1/2 tablespoon Grated Ginger

■Procedure
(1) Slice the pork and coat both sides with potato starch.
(2) Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add the pork, and cook until browned on both sides.
