Slice deep-fried tofu into strips and skewer them like yakitori! The mildly flavored sauce soaks into the tofu, creating a delicious, addictive taste. A perfect snack!

■Ingredients (Makes 4 pieces of deep-fried tofu)
・4 pieces of deep-fried tofu (80g)
・1 1/2 tablespoons mirin
・1 tablespoon soy sauce
・1/2 teaspoon Japanese-style granulated dashi
・1 tablespoon water

■Procedure
(1) Place the deep-fried tofu lengthwise and cut into 6 equal pieces. Thread each piece onto a bamboo skewer in a bellows pattern. (We recommend using thick, hand-fried deep-fried tofu.)
(2) Place the ingredients from step 1 in a frying pan and cook over medium heat, turning occasionally, for about 4 minutes until crispy.
(3) Add mirin, soy sauce, Japanese-style dashi stock granules, and water, and bring to a boil while tossing with the fried tofu.
