My attempt at the 20p challenge, This one is a little bit more up my street, a nice one on one 2D fighting game, a little bit like The king of fighters or Garou mark of the wolves. Although it's been said it's a spiritual successor to samurai shodown it doesn't feel quite the same to me, as Samurai Shodown has a lot more flair and likability when it comes to the game design characters

It's an interesting fighter but with a small roster of fighters for the time. The music isn't present on all levels, instead opting for the sounds of nature or crowd noises instead. The weapons are satisfying to use and are up to the usual high standard when it comes to the sound effect and I also like the art style of the stages.

some of the characters are a bit boring personality wise, Shikyoh was my favourite although I wasn't very fluent in this short play. but It was still fun, interestingly once you get to stage three, the CPU wants to kick your head in. I had a hard time getting to stage four but I don't think I ever got past it.

Overall a good game if a little tough for me :)
