The Last of Us Episode 4 was just released and it's another great episode.

Episode 4 of the Last of Us, in both the game and the show, Ellie and Joel have to fight their way through lots of raiders. In the game, this goes on for a much longer period of time. In the show, we see Joel in trouble, but Ellie uses the gun she found to shoot the attacker, saving Joel who then finishes the man off.

In the game, we see Joel and Ellie collecting supplies and making their way carefully through the environment. In the live action version we see the raiders up close and personal as we are introduced to a character named Kathleen, who is questioning someone about someone named Henry who she seems to blame for the death of her brother. Kathleen is then informed of the raiders from their group Joel and Ellie dispatched, and she ends the interrogation.

In the game, Joel at this point is helping Ellie get across a bit of water since she can’t swim.

In the show, Joel apologizes to Ellie for having to shoot someone earlier to help him.
Learning this, Joel then gives Ellie the gun back

Then, in both the game and show, Joel and Ellie make their way through a hotel when they run into trouble.

Being a fan of the game, and now the show, I couldn’t help but want to replay the game and share this comparison video to show just how close the two are.
