4In this session, Intr Studio will give an insight into how they resurrected cult-classic game The Legacy of Cthulhu as a custom-map Fortnite experience.
They’ll cover the thought process and business and development considerations; the artistic and narrative process of adapting an early 2000s narrative first-person game to Fortnite; the adaption of art style and art direction to make a Lovecraft-look work in Fortnite; the technical challenges; and the advantages of using UEFN for shortcuts and quick results while still staying on (slightly modified) brand.
They’ll describe the process from ideation over design and development to multiplayer-testing and preparation for the global launch, including the market research strategy and tools for the live period.
