Warlock Zone VI : Tengu Mountain

Seems like we were launched somewhere away from our destination. We'll need to make way for Tengu Mountain.

Okay, so there are a number of things that can make this Zone practically difficult.

The most important thing of note about this Zone is that you need to purchase a Pass in order to proceed to Tengu Mountain. The Pass can be found in a store at the start of the Zone, costing $980. Which means, if you happen to not have extra money to spare at the time of arriving at this Zone, you will need to grind around for it. Thankfully, there are a number of places in this town where you can get the money.

The enemies around the town of this Zone can be relentless. Try not to stay around certain areas for too long and try to get through them as quick as possible.

You can find a Maze in this Zone, and it's layout is different from the Maze you may have went into before.

There is a Arcade that you can find in this town, which has a new game which may be familiar to some: Gradius!

The Judo attack that you should think about picking up in this Zone if you can is the Level 2 Judo attack. The Level 2 Judo attack is a attack that instantly destroys everything on the screen. Of course, this won't work on the Bosses themselves, but it can still be useful against Bosses where there is enemies/objects that can be destroyed with the attack.

There is a Mini Boss that you'll likely encounter on your way through Tengu Mountain, the Tengu Men. There are two red faced ones you have to deal with at the start, who each wields a sword and they have a simple pattern of jumping around and will attack if you get too close. When one of them is defeated, a purple faced one will appear, in which his weapon is a long ranged one, but he has the same pattern as the red faced ones.

This Zone is probably the Zone I had to do the most retries for. It was a combination of a lot of things that caused it, including the Boss at the end of the Zone. I'm amazed that I even managed to adjust for the Zone, considering how bad I can be at this game.
