This is a video walkthrough / playthrough / runthrough / etc of the Famicon Disk System version of the The Legend of Zelda 2: Link's Adventure, which as you can see from the title is called Link no Bouken.

While it may look like what you'd expect of the game if you've only played the NES version, right away you should notice some differences. For one, the music is a bit different, especially the "encounter" music. Also, the monsters on the world map are different looking.

Another huge difference you'll notice while watching is that when you level up, you can choose any stat to level up instead of having to get a certain amount of points. With this in mind, I went ahead and leveled up my attack to a nice level early on as you'll see.

Another change is that some bosses like to scream, which I found annoying at times....Speaking of bosses, yet another difference is the return of Horse Head. He actually appears in the Palace on the Sea instead of the Blue Iron Knuckle as a mini-boss.

And yet another change is the enemies that required fire to kill in the NES version don't, so they are quite easier to kill.

And still yet another change is the fact for the health up, magic up, and other items that you normally run into to collect, you have to stab them. This includes the child you have to rescue..."I'm going to save you by stabbing you with my sword!"

I decided around the water temple more or less to just stop killing enemies since I would max out in stats just by the palace level ups before leaving a palace.
