The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Playthrough Part 3
0In this part, we find a few hidden items in the Lost Woods and Kakariko Village.
These are the items obtained in this part:
Piece of Heart #1: Early in the Lost Woods, you should find nine bushes, in a 3x3 pattern. Slash the center one to find a hidden hole. Enter it, and you'll find the first Piece of Heart. Four of them are needed to get a new Heart for your health meter.
Mushroom: In the Lost Woods, enter the log on the left, when you see two next to each other. On the other side, you'll find the Mushroom. Give it to the Syrup, the old woman making the brew, and she'll say to come back later. When you enter the shop, you will get the Magic Powder.
Bombs: Even though the way you obtain the Bombs can be different from mine, here's the earliest way to obtain them: In Kakariko Village, you should see a square hole, which looks like a well. Jump into it from the ledge above and you'll end up in a room with many Treasure Chests. One of them contain a few Bomb. Bombs are used a lot in this game. They can be used to blow up enemies, solve various puzzles, and destroy certain walls.
Piece of Heart #2: This Piece is in the same area where you get your first few Bombs. With your new Bombs, blow up the weak-looking wall near the other three Treasure Chests to find a hidden passage. Enter it to find another Treasure Chest. Open it, and you will get the second Piece of Heart.
