The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages (2025) (Stream 1)

I decided in the middle of 2024 that I wanted to go back and play through the entire Zelda series. As it evolved and I did a 100% playthrough of The Wind Waker, I decided that I finally wanted to 100% most of the mainline games in the series. So, the Year of Zelda was born. I will be going through all the games and using guides and friends in the chat to 100% the games as best I can. Some people might think I will miss some things, but these are going to be my 100% playthroughs. I will also be playing them in release order.
The next two games in the series are the Oracle games for the Game Boy Color. After the success of Link's Awakening on the console, Capcom was brought in with the adventurous task of building three games for the Game Boy Color in the Zelda universe that could be linked together to create one cohesive story. Unfortunately, due to whatever constrants the system put on them, they were only ever able to link two of them. So, that is how we got Oracle of Ages and Seasons. With that third makegood game Capcom has left, we got Minish Cap, which will be later...
Oracle of Ages is the current game in the list. When Nayru, the Oracle of Ages, is kidnapped by a sorceress by the name of Veran, she uses the Oracle's power to rewrite history to bring upon an Age of Shadows. It is up to Link to travel between the past and present to stop Veran from doing so. Each Oracle game plays on the core strengths of the Zelda series, with Ages being more Puzzle focused, using the power of time to figure out some unique puzzles.
