In the present version of the Mermaid's Cave/Dungeon,you'll fight the mini boss Vire again. He's the same as he was in Seasons,so he should go down quickly this time. Defeating him leads to a chest room with the Mermaid Suit! This changes swimming controls a bit,and allows Link to swim in deep water. Don't forget to grab the Boss key in the present before going back in time. You can also get a ring in the deep water outside the dungeon. Use the Mermaid Suit in the past to find new keys and get to the boss. BOSS FIGHT: Octogon. Swims around with it's shell to you. Turns to spit fire when it stops. When it's hit,it dives underwater. You get the Bereft Peak for beating him.
