The Gamecube is probably my favourite console of all time, it is home to some of my all time favourite games & was the era I remember most fondly! Now I have discovered that I can revisit these amazing titles. The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker is the second game I've decided to check out (after failing to get The Simpsons Hit & Run to work, in a brand new way with Dolphin VR!
Have you ever wanted to experience Gamecube games in VR? Have you ever wanted to see your Gamecube games in HD or 4K? Well Dolphin VR is a Gamecube/Wii emulator that allows you to run Roms of these classic games in fully 3D VR renderings and it is incredibly impressive! In this second episode I check out The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker in VR and look at changing the internal resolution in the Dolphin VR setup to get your Gamecube games running at a much higher resolution than the native setting. This time I opted for 4x native resolution and managed to get Wind Waker in VR running at a stunning 4K resolution (The gamecube version of Wind Waker in 4K looks VERY close to the HD port for WiiU)
