After completing all quests for Grey Mother, you can collect the climbing gear to progress on with the story by finding the climbing spot to reach a new area.

Go to Grey Mother's house and check the trunk in Lily's room to get the new climbing gear and some new cloths.

To find the climbing spot, exit Grey Mother's house, turn left and head towards the gas station. At the gas station turn right and head up the mountain until you find a small picknick area. To the left are 2 big rocks where you can install your climbing equipment. Use the rope to climb down and you're in the new area.
