The longest Nintendo Direct ever has come and gone, and while there were plenty of games shown… Nintendo did not deliver that one big thing fans were hoping for.

For many Switch 2 owners who just dropped $500, this presentation felt like a letdown — not because the games look bad (many look fun), but because Nintendo seems to be slow rolling the start of this generation instead of coming out swinging.
