The first portion of the contract went off with a few bumps, but was ultimately a resounding success. ION kept Mr. Thompson safe and cleared a number of important positions to Mr. Thompson's interests. Now, Mr. Thompson has decided that the Kanaan can no longer remain in the region, and has moved ION's contract from simple security to acting as a pacification force. ION Field Unit 'Proton' has to go deep into Kanaan territory, first to extend an olive branch or copious amounts of lead if they react poorly to our presence. Mr. Thompson is... well... rather irate at Kanaan, and wants them wiped off the face of the earth.
