Welcome to Like a Dragon: Ishin! I decided since I finished Yakuza 3 to jump into this, with it releasing (at the time of streaming it) I haven't played all the Yakuza games so some faces I do not know and some I do know from screenshots of others or just recently playing the last few. Overall I had a fun time, at first I wasn't quite on board and I get a bit lost or meh about the story, I think I just enjoy the charm of everyone being their own character instead of them being someone else or having to portray someone else in their own way.
The first half of my playthrough, I do tend to lean heavy into brawler or wild dancer just because of the faster movement and I find punching to feel quite normal with it being this kind of game, but eventually with improvements I slowly get used to using Swordsmen and all that but overall I prefer the main games/Judgment and stuff where weapons are more of an optional thing and it's all about punching and kicking. (And yes even the turn based one I haven't gotten to yet.) since at times with the weapons, it felt stiff and not so great.
But I had fun, if I didn't enjoy it, I wouldn't of kept playing but to me, was one of the weaker ones for me to have played so far in my run through of these games but still excited for more!
