The Mind's Eye 6.3, 2017-02-17: In the third episode of The Mind's Eye, James takes a look at the play of one "Konrad", who is coming from a very beginner standpoint with Ryu.

This is a very interesting match, because there is a strange amount of success via Konrad's play: he wins many matches and has a great sense of spacing. However, he has an affinity towards using the DP in emergency situaions. And while these matches are from Season 1, where DPs are actually invulnerable, the rate at which he uses them is still a bit careless, but he's not punished for it. And therein lies the main lesson for this episode: learning and understanding the idea of "False Successes" that I've spoken of before, and how to recognize that, even though what you're doing is working, it isn't optimal.
