I finally got around to trying out some of the variety settings that TMC rando has to offer and I quite enjoyed them. The settings I tried out are keasy and plentiful items. I also tried out the alternate music which is from Pokemon Emerald.

Keasy removes all keys and key doors from dungeons so you don't need to find any keys to make progress. The only keys remaining are the graveyard key and lonlon key since they have uses outside of dungeons.

Plentiful items increase the amount of each important item in the overall pool. This gives the player more opportunities to get the items they need.

Open fusions considers all minor kinstone fusions as already complete, so it opens up a ton of chests and item caves all over the world.

Rupee mania puts all of the free standing rupees into the item pool, greatly increasing the amount of checks available.
