In this video, I install a Pre-RTM Build of Windows Vista on a Lenovo Thinkcentre M58e 7298. I have upgraded the internal graphics card to a GT 740, and installed the actual operating system to an Edge Boost Pro SSD. I have also chosen to use a Live USB to install the Operating System rather than a CD or DVD.

This video was a proof on concept to show that older Operating Systems that were originally designed with obsolete installation methods can be installed in a more modern fashion.

Also, in case you were wondering, the reason why the bootup sound was that of Windows XP rather than Vista was because this was a Pre-RTM build, which means it wasn't the version released to the public, but a test build under Microsoft. The codename for Vista was Longhorn, and this was one of the Codename Longhorn builds.

I read every comment, and appreciate any type of feedback you leave on my videos.
