The Monday Review ep 10: Rise of the Third Power and Beserk Boy
Rise of the Third Power - Influenced by 1930's European Politics, this game seems to take a page right out of Octopath Traveler. PIxel art with stunning attack art, this game is a sure win for a solid JRPG. The only thing it's lacking is VA and that boss... was absurdly OP. Overall though, pleasant experience. 9/10 rating
Berserk Boy - A very good take on the Megaman titles. The boy seems to be able to combine with these elemental orbs, and harness the powers much like Megaman absorbed them from his enemies. The combat is smooth, platforming is great, however there is this OBNOXIOUS noise plaguing the game. Every time you jump, continue a dialogue, it's there and my viewers agreed, it was AN AWEFUL SOUND! Other then that and some laggy controls, this game should be on every retro nerds radar. 8/10 rating -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/viciousberrypi
