Welcome to Derry is a horror series that serves as a prequel to Stephen King's It. The story takes place in the bleak town of Derry, Maine, in the early 1960s. The Hanlon family, newly relocated to the town, begins to confront the dark secrets its inhabitants harbor. Children mysteriously disappear, people experience strange dreams, and a series of terrifying events unfold. Behind all of this lies a shapeshifting entity—Pennywise—a.k.a. "It"—that has haunted Derry for centuries.

The series explores the origins of this malevolent entity, the town's dark history, and how fear has spread from generation to generation. It also focuses on Derry's seemingly ordinary residents, who harbor repressed fears. Each episode sheds more light on both the town's past and Pennywise's nature.
