Analog horror is commonly characterized by low-fidelity graphics, cryptic messages, little to no traditional jump scares, and visual styles reminiscent of late 20th-century television and analog recordings. This is done to match the setting, as analog horror works are typically set somewhere between the 1960s and 1990s, or work with elements from that time period. Analog horror is often noted to use visual and audio distortion, as well as glitch-like effects that emphasize and replicate the technological limits the subgenre works with. The name "analog horror" comes from the genre's aesthetic incorporation of elements related to analog electronics, such as analog television and VHS (Video Home System), the latter being an analog method of recording video and audio.

The Walten Files is a analog horror series created by Chilean animator and illustrator Martin Walls, influenced by LOCAL58 and Five Nights at Freddy's series
It is a series about the bizarre events surrounding a restaurant called Bon's Burgers and Bunny Smiles Inc., which is related to the restaurant, and is similar to LOCAL 58 and The Mandela in the same genre. Unlike the Catalog, it is composed of 2D animation and has attracted many fans with its interesting story.
The main feature is that among analog horror films, gore and jump scare belong to a very strong axis. Unlike other series of works that create a gloomy and uncomfortable atmosphere, this series focuses on visual shock and grotesque, including Unpleasant Valley.
It is a popular series overseas, but the recognition in Korea was very low compared to the local 58 or Mandela catalog. Fortunately, this series has also been aware of the introduction of the YouTuber late night rabbit.
The animatronics in this analog horror series are called 'show stoppers '.
