Most Fallout games you start and you're on your own in a vault where something has gone wrong. Fallout 4 is very different from that in that you start the game in a pre-war state. It really helps to create a connection with your in-game family, one that I expected to continue into the main storyline. Continue but not in a way like this...

So quickly things turn around for the protagonist (you) in this game, from what seems like happiness and an ideal life into immense sadness and loss. I sure never thought I would see something like this and while you explore the wasteland it certainly gives you an end goal, to find out what happened to Shaun. This for me really was the most shocking moment in Fallout history!
