Strength is a vital skill in the Fallout series. For me the main advantage of a high strength stat is that you can carry more weapons, armour and other items you find in the wasteland. That means you don’t need to return to civilisation as often to sell things and aren’t forced to figure out what you want to leave behind because you can no longer move quickly.
