The new Android tablet to beat? Hands-on with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Series
Samsung has just launched three new tablets: The Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus and the massive 14.6in Tab S9 Ultra. These ultra-thin Android tablets may look near-identical to their predecessors but Samsung has made some big changes.
Each slate in the range - including the 11in base model - now comes with one of Samsung’s vivid, 120Hz AMOLED Dynamic 2X screens. All three tablets have been given the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset - the same as you’ll find inside Samsung’s Galaxy S23 smartphones. There’s also IP68 dust and water resistance. This rating even stretches to the improved S Pen, which comes included in the box.
The only potential problem is the price. The cheapest Tab S9 will set you back £799, while you’ll need to stump up £1,699 for the top Tab S9 Ultra.
