To answer your question - no, I will not be using the new textures. It goes without saying, then, that both resource packs must be updated consistently to allow new features to blend in well with both contexts. Nonetheless, you have to feel for JAPPA. It's not easy working in an environment that hits you time and time again with backlash with every working update. There will always be those on the stubborn ends of the spectrum.

Don't rush the release. It's not worth it.
