Fortnite Season 3 just received a Hotfix making it no longer possible to become the Wanderer by using the Mystique skin. It is still possible to defeat him with fire but it seems Epic did not intend that we could become the Wanderer. This on the other hand confirms that epic intented to make him take damage from fire but not bullets.
