I think Cliff Asness' hedge fund AQR Capital Management will likely be the next fund going bankrupt as a result of shorting AMC!
Cliff recently REVEALED (not started) his AMC short position, this short position is undisclosed and therefore it cannot be verified how 'small' his short position is. However, if he's coming on CNBC to say that AMC is 'Everything Terrible that he cares about', it's likely his TRUE short position is much larger.
AQR has already lost $48bn, already cut 10-20% of its workforced, already faced over $10bn of redemtions and therefore its likely that bankruptcy is just around the corner, and this was his final 'hail mary' attempt to dissuade the AMC investors from buying any more shares.
