1A dozen special weapons to cycle through? Sounds great! Wait...it's not great. It's actually kind of boring and feels pretty hopeless.
This is one of those games that is so reliant on its powerups that, once shot down, you immediately turn into a useless clay pigeon. In space.
It also doesn't seem to balance the weapons with the enemies. You're constantly thrown weapons to pick and choose from, but without any indication about what's coming up or any real difference between waves, what weapon you have isn't a deliberate choice. You have one weapon that you can use as a favorite, maybe one you can use if you're running into a lot of specific enemy types, and a third for the boss. Good luck knowing when to make the switch.
