Most people think of Duck Hunt as the original light gun game on the NES. I never remembered it that way, because this was my first. I'm sort of shocked it just never gets brought up as it really had that vintage first-year NES feel.

Did you know this was named after a real shooting range? That's something I learned today.

If you're wondering why I'm so terrible at this, there are two reasons. First, I am hazardous to hostages. I have an itchy trigger finger. Second, this is being played with a mouse. While at first that SOUNDS like it would actually be beneficial to a shooter, it's not. It's actually far, far worse. It's fine for the purpose of demonstration, but you simply cannot beat the twitch reflexes a light gun affords.
