During the Clone Wars, there was a group of Clones who had… more personality than the rest. These troopers decided to paint their armor in strange colors, that many of the younger clones had never seen. They grew up in the sterile white walled labratory of Kamino… These troopers were known as the Nutcracker Clones… So I hope you guys have a great christmas, and let’s break down this mysterious and fun clones.

Nutcracker troopers were a highly specialized unit within the grand army of the Republic that wore modified Phase 1 armor… Although modified is probably putting it lightly. They painted the armor in Christmas red and whites, as well a tinting the legs and cuffs with a yellow sheen. Their helmets were painted blue and only a little bit of their orignal white color was able to shine through, just to make sure everyone knew they were clones.
The shoulder pads though are where these creative Clones stepped things up to the next level. They painted their shoulders in a way that was reminiscent of the epaulets of the underwater Gungans. Similar ones were also worn by Grand Admirals of the Empire later on… On top of all of this, the helmet also had teeth styled emblems right below their visors, giving the appearance of a moustached-mouth.
These armors weren’t allowed in all situations, but particularly on life day, the Star Wars version of Christmas, these troopers were allowed to go crazy and travel anywhere they wanted in it…
