Super Mario Maker is an incredible game with one huge flaw. Half of the game is fundamentally broken. Super Mario Maker is a game that consists of two major parts. A creating part, where people create Super Mario Maker levels in the editor, and a playing part where people play exactly these levels online. The creating part is great. Like really great, it is incredible what is possible in the editor. But there is a second part of Super Mario Maker, the playing part and this part doesn’t work. In this video we are going to discuss why I believe that Super Mario Maker’s play mode is broken, why this really needs to be fixed and how to solve this play problem of user generated content in general.
