Hey everybody. Let's talk WoW Classic for a few moments. WoW Classic has been moving a long at a brisk pace trying to emulate the vanilla experience. Based on the popularity of classic, it seems they are doing a bang up job. There's one thing that looms dark on the horizon though. What happens when people tire of classic? What do you do when there's nothing to do because the timeline was quicker and your skills were better and more efficient? How does Blizzard keep people engaged? Well, some have talked about classic moving to TBC. Some mentioned "WoW plus". What do I think? Naxx 40. This raid is the ace in the hole. With perhaps only Sunwell near Naxx in terms of virgin raiding, Naxx stands ready to provide raiders with months of content. Naxx was so untouched in vanilla, they put it as tier 1 in WOTLK.

Knowing it will take raiders a long time to get into Naxx let alone clear it, this is the only thing that can perhaps keep classic going beyond 1.5-2 years of lifespan. With an estimate of Naxx not even coming out until 2021, we might be able to keep classic alive for at least 3 years which was longer than vanilla. Blizz has the luxury of not forcing people out of Naxx and over to TBC so they can sit on Naxx long enough for even casuals to clear it.
