I've had this game for a while. It, in fact, was one of my homework assignments back on the old Casual Adult Gamers podcast. Unfortunately, right after getting this assigned for gameplay, we shut that podcast down due to grown-up stuff taking over the spare time we had allotted for podcasting, so I never got to talk to the other guys about it. I finally pulled it out of my backlog tonight.
There are elements of lots of games here. Crysis 2. Devil May Cry. All swashed onto a 2d plane. And it's pretty damned beautiful. Kinda like painting with water colors via 2d combat as I told my Enough 2 Keep Going co-host tonight. It gets a bit repetitive; I'd like some more combat moves. It also reminds me a bit of the Legend of Kage, which was an old arcade console that my brother and I fell in love with back in high school. Bravo. I'll definitely be putting more time in on this. It also reminds me a bit of Bleed, but more gorgeous.
