I think I finally got a good game capture with the in-game audio sub-track. That has been flummoxing me all week; perhaps the result of me refusing to accept the Razer Synapse update, forgetting that the Ripsaw does have some dependencies on that application. That and maybe unplugging the Ripsaw's USB cable from the game capture PC and reinserting it again. Anywho, we're off to the races (again I say I hope as the video is uploading now, and I only know that in-game audio tested sat when I checked it locally).
Strider bugs me a bit in that it seems like it does not reset me at the most recent completed checkpoint but like the third one back. But I do discover in this episode that you can backtrack on this particular level, so maybe it has been resetting me in the right place, but it seems to me that it is behind because I had not realized that I backtracked. This my last capture for the month of January as I use the first week of February to reset and catch up on some podcast editing and updates to the site. Two more bosses down now, the fight with the first being frustrating, the second being sublime. Taking on the martial arts characters is much more engaging than taking on the mechs. Although, overall, and especially during boss battles, the dialogue in this one is pretty bad.
