Previously, for the main quest "Radio Free Monarch", the party climbed through the Devil's Peak Caverns to Devil's Peak on Monarch. Along the way, they rescued Berthold Fox and carried out the task quest "Mandibles of Doom". Afterwards, they cleared out the Marauders around and in the Devil's Peak Station. With this done, they met the Information Broker, Hiram Blythe. They helped him jump start the communications tower so that he could transmit information to Phineas Welles. During this, the faction quest "Canid's Cradle" began. For Nyoka's companion quest "Star-Crossed Troopers", the party also talked to Hiram for information about two of Nyoka's former crew. Now, the party will carry out "Canid's Cradle" and investigate the crashed UDL gunship.
Monarch Wilderness:
The party resumes at the Devil's Peak Station in the Monarch Wilderness. They fast-travel to the Unreliable.
Unreliable (time 1:45):
Davilas enters the hold for a little scene with Nyoka and Ellie. Ellie has a bit to say about the situation on Monarch.
Davilas upgrades Felix's gear a little. Then, he fast-travels to the Cascadia Landing Pad with Parvati and Felix.
Cascadia (time 5:24):
Felix asks to talk. He is not happy about some information that the party has uncovered concerning Graham during Zora's faction quest "Sucker Bait".
The party uses a Workbench in town to repair some stuff.
Afterwards, the party heads north into the wilderness.
Monarch Wilderness (time 8:02):
The route north to the crashed UDL gunship is crawling with Mantisaurs, Mantiqueens, Raptidons, and other local nasties. They find the ship crashed near the lovely Sulfur Pits, where there are plenty of Raptidons to be found.
The party reaches the Gunship Crash Site, a fast-travel location. The gunship is named the Cantankerous Canid. Aboard the ship, they check the terminal in the cockpit. After viewing the logs and listening to the mayday message, they eject Captain Matsu's command key. They acquire the Gunship Captain's Key quest item.
With the key, the party can open the aft door. After climbing the ladder, they enter the engine room. They operate a couple of consoles and then acquire the Cantankerous Canid Targeting Module quest item. This concludes the objective to retrieve the gunship's targeting module for "Canid's Cradle". The next optional objectives are to give the module to Sanjar or to give the module to Graham. However, there are a couple other options if they have carried out "Sucker Bait".
The party fast-travels back to the Unreliable.
Unreliable (time 24:42):
Davilas fast-travels to Stellar Bay. He brings along Parvati and Nyoka.
Stellar Bay (time 25:37):
The party stops by the Workbench to repair their gear.
In MSI headquarters, they talk to Sanjar Nandi. The party suggests a truce with the Iconoclasts. Sanjar won't work with Graham, but he will consider working with Zora if she is in charge. This starts the optional objective to convince MSI and the Iconoclasts to negotiate for "Canid's Cradle". Sanjar needs to see Zora's Executive Review, which can be found on the HR terminal in the Rizzo's Bottling Plant building in Cascadia. Showing it to him updates "Canid's Cradle". Looks like Sanjar's on board, as long as Zora can be put in charge of the Iconoclasts.
Afterwards, the party fast-travels to Amber Heights.
Amber Heights (time 32:30):
When the party enters Graham's place, Zora talks to them. If they have finished her quest "Sucker Bait", she will suggest deposing Graham. The party agrees.
Upstairs, a scene takes place when the party approaches Graham. Unfortunately, Graham refuses to listen to reason and will fight back. Killing him cancels the optional objective to give the module to Graham but starts one to give the module to Zora for "Canid's Cradle". Iconoclasts reputation is decreased, while the Board reputation is increased.
Afterwards, the party talks to Zora again. They recommend that she and Sanjar join forces. There are a few options to convince her, including one that requires Inspiration 55 and another that requires Persuade 55. This concludes the objective to convince MSI and the Iconoclasts to negotiate for "Canid's Cradle". It also cancels the other optional objectives. The next objective is to oversee the negotiation, which will be at the old OSI church outside Stellar Bay's southern gate.
The party fast-travels to Stellar Bay Ruins (South).
