Hello everyone and welcome back to Bugsnax, also known as "Are We Sure This isn't a Horror Game 2020." I am you host, Hero of Side Quests.

Today we start off our video by nearly causing a bathroom accident, we interview Gramble, and go to a very depressing and upsetting party.

At least we got a fun look at the PS5 UI for the first part. The interview with Gramble was definitively disturbing. He was probably part of a cult. He lies about whether or not he protects his Snax. He expects Wiggle to change for him (seriously sounding cultish again expecting someone to change like that). He continually falls into denial or refusing to acknowledge anything by evading. He's lucky he's got a cute hat on otherwise I'd be quite cross with him. No, I'm still quite cross with him, even if it's absolutely hilarious to keep tormenting him by stealing his Snax like last episode.

BUT YOU GET TO PET THE BUGSNAX. OH MY GOSH I FORGOT THAT WAS THIS EPISODE! I love petting everything in games. Seriously I want to make a D&D character who goes on the adventure just to pet all the crazy beasts out in the wild. Boop all the snoots. Lose an arm to a dragon snorting fire.

Sounds like a great time to me.

Anyways, Charwee reappears, Gramble tries to steal my Sprout back, Filbo keeps dancing, Hero sets the world on fire (again), Beffica annoys Hero (again), and the Wambus and Gramble get into a fight (again).

Poor Filbo. He gets brutalized. Again.

Man this whole game is just something else. Too meta, too full of depression, too fun of bright happy colors, too crazy for its own good. Too good for its own good really. I really love this game.

(And Firsthand experience would've been a great first episode title)

Woof, and if that's not enough, we're Bugsnax intolerant. Which keep that in mind for the very end cause I have a few theories on this! Theories that maybe might be answered in Bugsnax 2.

ARGH I CAN'T WAIT FOR BUGSNAX 2.

For now we've got to head out to the Scorched Gorge, get yelled at by one Grumpus, get talked at by an archaelogist, and accidentally completed a side quest before it was even available! This is the way. This is the Side Quest way.

While in the desert (Scorched Gorge), we also pick up some hot sauce, and deal with... various struggles... trying to complete Wiggle's request for Popticks. Enough so that... Ok actually Hero doesn't rage quit but they ran out of time to record but they definitely did have some fun with the rage. And we hope you had fun with the rage.
