17The Perfect Vlogging Camera - Here's My Idea For One
In this video I give some explanations and reasons as to what I think would make the perfect vlogging camera.
This idea is based essentially on a smartphone but tailoring one for the specific task of being a vlogging camera.
In the video I talk about bypassing and not using any hardware that would be required for the phone element, so as to bring down the cost.
Maybe the better idea would be to leave a bunch of the phone stuff in there and have it basically be just as I've described it, weighted heavily toward the vlogging camera angle but with phone abilities so it could do live streaming and broadcasting. Maybe?
The one thing I think would be the killer touch, would be to relocate the front camera to the middle of the screen about two thirds up. Basically where you'd expect to look at yourself for selfie monitoring.
Anyway. At the moment it seems that the world and her husband is all over the Sony ZV-1 camera like a nasty rash. Do you agree with this general sentiment that the best vlogging camera is the Sony ZV1?
While I will be getting a Sony ZV1, I most certainly don't think that the Sony ZV1 is a vlogging camera, let alone the best one.
Anyway, call back soon as I will be doing a whole bunch of stuff with the ZV1, including seeing what it's gonna be like as a vlogging camera and I'll be testing a whole load of external vlogging mics with it, all RODE of course :)
