What started so simply has become so much more. Some of you may recall this video from back in 2014.

Well that was a very basic start to what is now much more. Named after the game that made it sort of famous, the Perseverance engine is an entirely evented Action Battle System, developed by Bizarre Monkey, the lead systems designer of the CCC.

Since it's debut in Perseverance in 2014, the engine has seen many sweeping changes, now with some scripting help from Yanfly's Stop All Movement and Move Restrict Region, the engine now has several wonderous features.

-Shadowdash: Like a dodge roll, gives 30 invulnerability frames.
-Lockstrafe: Now toggled and no longer relying on a script, lock strafe gives the game a much wanted strafe-style.
Batch event collision checking: As part of a script I requested from Omegas7 back in 2014, this is one of the best things about the engine that makes otherwise grueling monotonous work a breeze.
Quick Select: makes equipping weapons easy and pauses play so that you can feel you have to rush.
Item Select: Added alike quick select only a day ago, this allows powerups to become something more than situational ground clutter.
Readable easy to understand HUD: Your health is red, yellow are rounds, or ammo. The rest is either your currently active item and weapon along with key commands, offering assistance in an entire un-intrusive manner.
