297This is my take on the smallest possible solo base while still providing the security you'd expect of a larger base and an incredible amount of storage that the enemies just won't be expecting you to have inside...
Inspired my by 2x1 base, the Lay-Low - I worked on reducing down the size even further to produce a micro core with macro storage that fit any gap you might want to place it...
The base has multiple levels of storage, complete honeycomb, a resealable stability bunker and with the recommendations I provide enough space for your essential deployable items such as workbenches, repair benches and research tables and plenty of room to expand and grow outwards and upwards.

In Rust not all bases fit the location you want to build, sometimes you won’t have flat ground or you’ll want to live in a discrete but advantageous position.
And then sometimes you just don’t want a big base
As as solo, it’s all about you. Niceties aren’t always important and stripping back a base design to provide maximum storage, a sealable bunker and raid costs high enough from all directions, they’ll keep your tiny base safe at night, can, all together, make such a big difference to your wipe progression.
The POD is a 1 by 1 by 2 capsule base that covertly houses 3 tiers of loot storage all accessible from a single spot in the base, all while fitting into the smallest gaps and looking like a miniature 1x1
So if you want an easy to deploy base, or you’re a player that enjoys small bases - perhaps even multiple small bases per wipe - then the Pod should be perfect for you
