The error message that displays on-screen reads 'You are not using a Power Gig SixString guitar controller. Certain features, such as power chord mode, will not be available.' Note that the PowerGig SixString real guitar and controller can still be used as a standard RockBand / Guitar Hero / Band Hero guitar controller in-game.
