The Power of Mage Xbalanque SMITE

You can out clear any hunter in the early to mid-game from the power spike that this builds brings. every hunter that goes ninja tabi versus mage Xbalanque is gonna lose the lane against you. not to mention u lose like half of your hp in 2 seconds when u get hit by 2-3 basic attacks and 2 abilities in 2-second window. I haven't loose lane phase once since I am playing mage Xabalnque in Conquest. if we compare 2 most common hunter builds atm...death toll, gloves, ninja tabi vs bluestone, warrior tabi, jotuns..what u see? the second build has way better power spikes and that is why u are gonna lose the lane 🙂 Hutner meta predictions baby. the point of this buils is that u combine basic attack with abilities. you do basic-2-basic-3-basic combo..animation/basic attack cancel
the point of this build is that you can always be on the move and click your basic attack not hold. the origins of this build are from Arena environment. in Arena you don't have the time to stand still. you always wanna be on the move. high-pressure environment. so you click your basic attack not hold and combine them with abilities. you basically animation/basic attack cancel with 2, 3 or ulti. not to mention with bluestone pendant, warrio tabi and jotuns...you will out clear every hunter I Coqneust in early to mid game. once u have power shoes aka Warrior tabi...you can clear the wave in 1 or 2 abilities. you will out clear every hunter that doesn't go power shoes. if you can afford warrior tabi at your first return to the base you are doing really good..
Xbalanque 3 has one of the biggest range in the game. bigger range than most mage abilities even. so u can use it to engage and disengage at once. and with Jotuns wrath u gain cooldown and consistency. your 3 gains 30% more dmg if ur target are affected by your poison from your 2. after u buy hydra your dmg almost doubles. each basic attack after ability deals 40% more dmg. and u don't really need attack speed because u animation cancel anyway. and u get attack speed from levels....so bluestone pendant, warrior tabi for early power spike, jotuns for another power spike and consistency, then u add in survival item like winged/witcher, then ua dd in another flat pen item for another power spike and then u round the build with hydra. Hydra brings the build together and allows u to keep up with other hunters in the late game. u can always transition to basic attack build if u want. I also usually add Witchblade for the last item to counter enemy hunter or 3 physical teams. u can ceven egt Witchblade as 4th item to coutner 3 phisical teams. 3 rd item is very important. either power spike item like jotuns, counter item like Runic shield on aw warrior against 3 magical teams or bridge item like Stonebinding on guardians as 3rd item.
well yea most of the time u don't level up the movement abilities. but Xbalanque is an exception. his 3 has such a big range that u can use it as engage and disengage at once. bigger than most mage abilities. . and his 3 gains 30% more dmg if u hit targets that are poisoned. most people who play Xbalanque level up the wrong ability. they level up his 2 instead of his 3. at lvl 5 you take lvl 3 in your 3rd ability. at lvl 7 you have your 3rd ability on lvl 4 and at lvl 9 you already have your 3rd ability maxed. with blue stone pendant, warrior tabi and jotuns...you will out clear and out poke anyone 　 Bara, Zapman...it doesn't matter how good are they at the game. if they lack power spikes in their build u will out clear them. Every hunter that doesn't go warrior tabi and get ninja tabi instead...will have no chances to out clear you. Hutner meta predictions
Every item has a purpose in my build. I play to win. and also to have fun. but winning is fun u know 　 bluestone pendant, warrior tabi, jotuns for best power spike in the game, winged for survival, another flat pen item for another power pike and hydra that bring the build together and almost doubles your dmg. I haven't lost lane once since I started playing Conquest again. and I do 40k+ player dmg in 1 Arena game easily. 20k is average
I suggest u take level 3 in your 3rd ability at level 5 instead of ulti. big power spike. and at that point, u already have warrior tabi so u have insane power spike.
