The Power-Up Bumblebee Should've gotten in Rise of the Beasts. The death of Bumblebee in Rise of the Beasts was nothing short of saddening. This was a character that has grown quite the fanbase during the modern era of Transformers. And with each film installment he always manages to have a show stopping moment. Like when he died at the hands of Scourge. Only to return due to the transwarp gate's shocwave causing the Energon in the area to ignite and revive him. It was a cool comeback. But it felt like that surge of energon should've done way more. Like give him a new power-up. And it seems like that may have been the initial plan. Based on some of toys such as his Beast Mode action figure. It would've most likely fused with Airazor. And he would possess flight capabilities along with a new blade. Given the fact that Bee's and Airazor's bodies were in the same area. It would make perfect sense of energon surge combined them in a similar fashion to Optimus & Jetfire. Making them a Autobot & Maximal hyrbrid.
