The Problem With Streamers Like Asmongold and Quin Promoting Pay to Win Games Like Diablo: Immortal
I think the line between gaming and gambling has gotten a little too thin, especially when games sell power behind incredibly unlikely odds to make people feel the NEED to spend. Streamers like Quin, and Asmongold promoting a game like Diablo Immortal is unfortunately not much different than someone like Trainwreckz or XQC streaming gambling websites.
Promoting gambling unintentionally is still promoting gambling, but they shouldn't even have to worry about it if the companies that made these games were held accountable for their predatory behavior.
I'm not blaming any of the streamers I mentioned in the video for playing a game and streaming them spending money on it. It's obviously well within their right to do, and it is encouraged by these companies sadly.
